Glossop Labour Club is an independent socialist club. It is not affiliated to any political party, but is home to people who share a progressive outlook on life. It is one of the oldest Socialist/Labour Clubs in the country. If you enjoy a friendly atmosphere, where you will be unlikely to encounter bigotry or prejudice, if you are a woman who likes the freedom of going out alone, if you are young or old (or in between), Glossop Labour Club is just what you are looking for. Whether you want real ale, draught lager, cider or Guinness,  alcohol-free beer. wine or a selection of spirits (including a range of single malts - all at very reasonable prices, or if you prefer soft drinks, tea and coffee, we can offer what you most enjoy.

We are generally open from 8-11 p.m. on Tuesdays and 7-11 pm on Fridays. On other nights we may be open if there is an event or other activity.  Check the bar rota on the External link opens in new tab or windowMembers page to make sure.

Accessibility: The ground floor of the Club is wheelchair accessible, and there is a ramp down into the garden. We have a wheelchair accessible toilet, and a stairlift to the upstairs rooms.

STOP PRESS:

* Social Sundays. These weekly sessions are now over but the option to provide these on a monthly basis is under discussion.  A meeting has been organised for Sunday 21 April at 1100 am at the club.  All welcome who either have ideas about how this can be run and/or would like to be involved in running monthly sessions.

*May Day Weekend:  "Peace for Palestine".  We are in the final stages of arranging a series of events including talks, discussions, a benefit and a family day around the theme on 4th and 5th of May.  The current programme is available on the webpage which will include full details in due course.

*Boycott Coca Cola. The Club has decided to stop selling Coca Cola because of its investment in an illegal settlement in the occupied West Bank. It is now replaced by Karma Cola. For more details see the News page.
